Ok...you're all set. Now that you have been sucked into the world of John Izen I though everyone should know that you can now have your own Yam Roll doll! Yes, it is $40 but I think it is so worth it (if they send me one I will take pictures of it following me around on my day to day journeys: Yam Roll at work, Yam Roll working out, Yam Roll sleeping etc...).

Michael Paulus took a selection of popular cartoon characters and rendered their strange distorted skeletal systems.
Crazy raccoon
The Jury is in, and the verdict is: my cupcakes are good! We had a visitor the last few nights sneaking in unnoticed and stealing disgarded cupcakes from our trash. I figure because he keeps coming back, they must be good! Above artwork is a piece by Kozyndan called "Tanuki San", inspired loosely on a Miyazaki cartoon about racoons.
Kumi Machida
Ping Mag has a great article on artist Kumi Machida's exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo. I love the simple black lines in contrast with the rich colours that are used to sparsely.
