Pillow Fight!

On the heels of Fight Club, Pillow Fight Club is the newest form of flash mobbing. People meet up the same way (via text messaging, emails etc...) in pre-arranged areas where the pillows can be well hidden and "beat the stuffing out of each other". This has been happening all over the world from Europe to Canada to even Israel.

30 Days of Sustainability

I bumped into the Swell - Future Friendly Design Exhibition yesterday afternoon after checking out Brian Jungen's exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Turns out it was part of 30 Days of Sustainability, an annual celebration and awareness program about sustainability.

Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival

Spring is approaching fast (not that we had a real winter anyway) and this year Vancouver is hosting its very own Hanami (Cherry Blossom viewing) party. Grab a picnic and head down to one of the twelve dedicated cherry blossom viewing spots around town.
